1916 SOCIETIES TO ADDRESS THE WAY FORWARD FOR SCOTLAND

Following on from tomorrow’s independence referendum the 1916 Societies in Scotland will be holding an information meeting in Glasgow on Saturday 20th September, giving republicans and other interested parties the opportunity to come together and discuss the referendum outcome and strategise for the future. The meeting also presents a chance to hear about the work of the 1916 Societies in both Scotland and in Ireland, with issues covered to include the One Ireland-One Vote campaign, our strategy in Scotland, building links with others groups and much more. Speakers from the Societies in Ireland and Scotland will be present and the meeting will conclude with a question and answer session, ensuring all present the right to have their say and contribute to the discussion.
